Late Late Show – Paris Hilton’s Cleavage

Late Late Show - Paris Hilton\'s Cleavage

Paris being the “City of Lights” and “Romance” attracts people from all over the globe. Being one of the most visited and hot tourist destinations, Paris is considered quite expensive. But do not panic as it does not mean that you cannot dream of going to the most romantic city in the world.

It is very much possible to visit the expensive Paris within limited budget. For that you just need to plan your trip and follow some budget tips. Rest assured you will enjoy a fabulous trip of your lifetime.

Accommodation

  • If you want to save on accommodation, consider staying in smaller towns where it is cheaper. When you are planning to visit Paris, you can look out for Paris hotels which are located near or well connected to the Metro or the RER (the suburban train lines), or even have the option to stay in a near by city like Chartres which is just train ride away. It will save a lot on traveling as well.
  • You can also look out for star ratings of Paris hotels according to your budget and need. The Paris star-rating system is good and dependable. Even if you stay in one star less than your desired hotel, it will not make much difference in terms of comforts and facilities. You will find that sometimes even these lesser-rated Paris hotels are far better than their peers a notch up.
  • However, if you are planning to stay in a town for more than a week, it is advisable to stay in a vacation rental or serviced apartments than a hotel. You can save on eating out as you can cook on your own in the fully equipped kitchen. Your have the privacy and comforts of home in these vacation rental or serviced apartments. However, the only disadvantage of not staying in hotel is that you will miss the personalized service of hotels.
  • If you do not want to spend on accommodation you have the option of home exchange. It is possible if you are living in a big city which is also a popular tourist destination. While they visit your New York City Apartment, you can stay in a Paris couple’s Paris apartment.
  • For a change from your usual stay in hotels, you can consider camping in Paris. It can be a lot fun. With France’s government-regulated star rating system, even a pricy two-star hotel can be equivalent to four-star campground.

Rail

  • Get a rail pass if you are going to travel for long distances or for a few days of rail travel, as it is the best and only way to travel cheap.

How to Get Cash

  • It is advisable not to visit exchange companies as the rates are terrible and commissions high. The best way to get Euros is by withdrawing at an ATM in Paris or charging on a credit card. It is the most budget way to get Euro.

Eating Out

  • You can save on your hotel breakfast which is usually overpriced and consists of just few pastries and coffee. You can visit the local café and start your day with a breakfast and spend half or quarter the price for a pastry or croissant. You can also inform them when you are booking your room or checking in whether you want breakfast or not as you can be automatically charged for it. However, it will be much cheaper if you opt only for coffee in the room instead of full breakfast.
  • Instead of spending money on all three meals a day, you can indulge in one great big French meal and preferably lunch. You will be served the same food for dinner for lesser money. For a low price, you can have the prix fixe menu consisting of a starter, main dish and dessert, and sometimes even wine.
  • Having eaten much in lunch, you can go for cheap pastry and sandwich for dinner. Or if you prefer, you can go for the big three-course dinner and have sandwich lunch instead. Almost all over Paris, sandwiches are very good and usually cost around 3.5 Euros.

Transportation

  • Paris is well served by good transportation thus, making it easy for you to access to any part of the city. It is easy to get from one town to another as smaller towns in Paris are also linked by good transport system. If possible try to avoid hiring or taking taxis because it is expensive. However, if you are not sure or confident about your specific destination, you can always e-mail the tourism office to enquire about their transportation system.

Follow these tips and you need not ruin your trip or make it too difficult to enjoy your trip to Paris. So, do not miss the opportunity to visit Paris as you only live once.

Help answer the question about paris

Anyone know what neighborhoods in Paris are the nicest to raise a family?
My husband and I are looking to relocate to Paris, or the outskirts of Paris, and I am unfamiliar of what neighborhoods are the best for raising a family, and a safe, hip enviroment. We have a 1 year old little girl and I want to provide her with the best neighborhood possible, so could someone familiar with the area tell me of some great places for families?

  2. hmm total gelangweilt wer will mit mir schreiben hab auch bilder von mir

  3. Simone Simone Simone vien ici

  4. I just did my daughter's hand print and used about 1 cup total. It really depends on the size plate you are using.

  5. Paris is one of the most beautiful places in the world.I've been there in summer,it was so great.I visited the Disneyland for 3 days and then I had 5 whole days to enjoy the life of Paris.you will never get bored, there are so many things to do .definitely go to Eiffel tower during night,it's just like a magic.A huge gold tower and is reflected in the seine's water.then we have notre dame situated on a small island in the river seine, the Paris opera and champ Elysee.Versailles were very impressive too, don't miss it,the whole french revolution was based there, you can see the glorious gardens of Marie Antoinette and the luxurious rooms of the king. but Paris has a lot more to offer you than these, you can walk to the narrow streets and enjoy the classic buildings or go to la defense, the biggest economical center in Europe and have a lot of choices for you shopping. Also you can get a taste of the night life of Paris, moulin rouge e.t.c.

You have to go one day,it's really great,I had a great time and I'm definitely going there again in the future. It deserves 100% the name for the city of light.
i wish you manage to go there sometime good luck

btw I forgot to tell you about monparnase,a modern tower in the center of Paris where you can have a view of the city from the top.

  6. Begin the process immediately. The summer is a very busy time at the passport office. The passport costs $100. You can speed up the process by paying an additional fee. It's about an extra $100.

For more information, contact the nearest passport office to where you live. Their phone number is in your local phone book. You'll need 2 identical 'passport photos.' Anybody who takes pictures professionally knows what that is.

  7. "The Portrait of a Lady" by Henry James is set, partially, in Rome. You'll recognize some of the sites that James describes.

"Les Miserables" and "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" by Victor Hugo are both set in Paris, and the setting is very important to the plot of these novels.

  8. Does anyone know any songs that are similar to this one? I LOVE THIS!!

  9. if this does not make you move you don’t have a soul!

  10. I agree, what is that… :s

  11. It's usually best to get your tickets in advance so you can stick to a schedule and not have to worry about the train being sold out and all of that. I would take a train from Paris to London, it would be easiest to find a train from a big city (such as Paris). You're very lucky to be in a study-abroad program, do you like it? Would you recommend it?

    Good luck!

  12. The Eurostar Paris stop is the Gare du Nord which is in the centre of the city. It's well served by metro and RER lines.

  13. try anything on FrenchkissFM they have a website.

  14. hot chip, telepathe, tom vek ^-^

  15. Yes, there are frequent trains. The TGVs take about 5 hours and 10 minutes direct. There are trains every hour. The website for French railways is very complicated and doesn't give results half the time. Supposedly you can buy your ticket online and pick it up at a French train station. Just buy it at the station when you get there, like a day in advance. One way 2nd class costs from $119 to $146 depending on train.

  16. Try Aeroplane’s mix of Au Revoir Simone’s ‘Another Likely Story’

  17. In general, most tourist attractions in Paris do not require advance reservations (nor do they take it). If you want to avoid queueing and save some time though, I'd say look into getting Paris Museum Pass (http://www.parismuseumpass.com/en/home.php ) which is valid for many of the major sights in Paris including Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Versailles etc but unfortunately not Eiffel Tower. The pass allows access usually through a separate queue and it moves along quickly. The only place where special fast access is not available is the tower of Notre Dame, where access is limited that there's only a number of people allowed at any time at the tower level.

However, I've found, if there's exhibition at the Grand Palais that interests you (I've just checked – there's a special Warhol exhibition during your trip : http://www.rmn.fr/Warhol-s-Wide-world ) it's advisable to buy ticket online which has time allocation to it. Queues at Grand Palais is notoriously long and at the last exhibition re Picasso, when my friends and I couldn't get tickets online (they were sold out), we ended up queueing for over 3 hours despite being there early in the morning! Therefore Galeries Nationales du Grand Palais is perhaps one place where it is smart to buy ticket in advance (http://rmn.fnacspectacles.com/place-spectacle/manifestation/Exposition-LE-GRAND-MONDE-D-ANDY-WARHOL-WARHO.htm ).

  18. Elmer's white glue for porous surfaces….
